These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Jian Yang, an individual seller in Shanghai, China, trading as CareerPilotAI. You are contracting with Jian Yang, trading as CareerPilotAI. By accessing or using CareerPilotAI, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Use of our resources

Our resume templates, examples, and guides are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may use them to create your own resume and job search materials.

Paid subscriptions and Paddle

Paddle is the merchant of record for paid subscriptions on CareerPilotAI. Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at Paddle Buyer Terms, apply to payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics for your purchase. CareerPilotAI offers two paid plans, Starter and Career Pro, as recurring monthly or annual subscriptions at the localized price shown at checkout.

Free trial and automatic renewal

Both Starter and Career Pro currently offer a 7-day trial that requires a payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically renews into the selected paid plan at the displayed recurring price and billing interval. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. You can cancel at any time through Manage billing in your account; access normally continues through the end of your paid period or trial, subject to Paddle's terms. Taxes and payment documents

Paddle calculates applicable taxes and issues the payment documents for your purchase.

Credits

Credits are an internal, noncash, nontransferable usage unit used to access AI features. They have no monetary value and are not transferable or refundable except as described in these Terms or our Refund Policy. Your credit balance and allocation are governed by the plan or trial terms displayed when you subscribe or create your account and by the records shown in your account.

Acceptable use and prohibited AI content

You must not use CareerPilotAI to create, request, submit, publish, or distribute any of the following:

  • Illegal content or instructions facilitating wrongdoing
  • Non-consensual sexual content, intimate imagery, or deepfakes
  • Hate, harassment, threats, or incitement to violence
  • Malware, hacking instructions, credential theft, security bypasses, or attempts to evade safeguards or jailbreak the service
  • Doxxing, privacy violations, or personal data processed without a lawful basis or required permission
  • Impersonation, deceptive content, false claims of provenance, fraudulent applications, or fabricated qualifications, experience, credentials, or references
  • Spam, intellectual-property infringement, scraping, automated abuse, or interference with service security

Your responsibility for inputs and outputs

  • You are responsible for the prompts, resume, profile, job-description, and other content you submit.
  • You must have all rights, permissions, and lawful bases needed for the content and personal data you submit.
  • You are responsible for reviewing output, checking facts and accuracy, correcting errors, and deciding whether and how to use it.
  • AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, unsuitable, or similar to output generated for others.
  • CareerPilotAI must not be treated as regulated legal, financial, medical, immigration, or other professional advice without appropriate qualified oversight.
  • No AI output guarantees an interview, employment, salary, promotion, or other result.

Input, output, and service intellectual property

  • You retain ownership of the content you submit.
  • You grant Jian Yang, trading as CareerPilotAI, a limited license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and transform your submitted content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the requested service, subject to the Privacy Policy.
  • To the extent permitted by law and third-party model or provider terms, you may use output generated specifically for you for lawful personal and professional purposes.
  • We do not promise that output is unique or that copyright will necessarily subsist in it.
  • Jian Yang, trading as CareerPilotAI, retains ownership of the service, software, branding, site design, documentation, original templates, and other service IP.
  • You must not infringe third-party rights.

No guarantee of outcomes or availability

Our resources and AI tools are educational aids. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, hiring outcomes, or any specific employment result. The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free availability, and results depend on many factors outside our control.

Moderation, enforcement, and takedowns

We may refuse or filter prompts or outputs, remove or restrict content, limit features, and suspend or terminate accounts, and we may preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary for policy enforcement, fraud or security prevention, legal compliance, or protection of rights and safety. We may apply these measures to suspected abuse as well as confirmed violations, and we may undertake reasonable review where appropriate.

To report rights-holder, takedown, or abuse concerns, contact support@careerpilotai.site. Repeated or serious infringement may lead to suspension or termination.

For a takedown request, please provide: identification of the protected work or material, the allegedly infringing content or its location, your contact details, and a good-faith statement of your rights or authority. We will not request unnecessary sensitive information.

Suspension and termination

CareerPilotAI may suspend or terminate your access to the service for material breach of these Terms, nonpayment, fraud or security risk, unlawful use, spam, intellectual property infringement, malware, scraping or security probing of the service, or serious or repeated abuse.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
